Her purpose is to not only convey the painful settings, emotions, and impressions of abuse but also the triumph over it. This promotes understanding and empathy so others can feel comfortable in breaking their silence. Ultimately, TELL ME YOUR TRUTH admonishes victims that "they are not alone in their suffering and that there is hope and help...".
